Terms of Use

These terms explain the basis on which visitors may use the SIGNET website and its enquiry service.

Using this website

These terms apply to use of the website operated for SIGNET Associates Nigeria Limited. By using the website, a visitor accepts these terms to the extent they apply. A visitor who does not agree with them should stop using the site.

The website provides public corporate information and an enquiry service. It does not provide customer accounts, project portals or enquiry lookup.

Purpose of website information

Information about SIGNET, its services, capabilities and projects is provided for general corporate and informational purposes. Website content does not by itself constitute a binding quotation, contract, engineering design, technical advice or tender commitment.

SIGNET may revise website content as company information, service scope or project information changes. Reasonable efforts may be made to keep the content accurate, but absolute completeness or continuous accuracy is not guaranteed.

Enquiries and contracts

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract, appointment or obligation for SIGNET to undertake work. Any services, deliverables, price, programme or other project commitment must be agreed separately by the relevant parties.

People using the enquiry form should provide information that is accurate to the best of their knowledge. They should not submit unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, spam or malicious content.

Engineering and project information

Any project case study published on the website may summarise selected information for general reference. It should not be treated as a complete project record, drawing, specification or instruction for construction.

General website information is not project specific engineering advice, structural advice, technical design or a professional consultancy recommendation. Formal advice and project requirements must be considered and agreed separately for the relevant site and scope.

Acceptable use

Visitors must not use the website to:

  • carry out or support unlawful activity;
  • attempt unauthorised access to the website or related systems;
  • interfere with website security or availability;
  • transmit malicious code or automated spam; or
  • use forms or contact facilities in an abusive or fraudulent manner.

Intellectual property and brand

Unless otherwise indicated, original website text, graphics, presentation, branding and other materials may be owned by or licensed to SIGNET. This statement does not claim ownership of material belonging to another party.

Visitors should not reproduce substantial website content for commercial use without permission. The SIGNET name and branding must not be used in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, partnership or authorisation.

Website availability and responsibility

SIGNET aims to keep the website available and useful but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error free access. Access may be affected by maintenance, service providers, network conditions or technical faults.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SIGNET is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general website content or temporary website unavailability. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Applicable law and changes

These website terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory legal rights that may apply. No specific court jurisdiction is designated by these website terms.

SIGNET may update these terms periodically to reflect changes to the website or its operation. The date shown on this page identifies the current published version.
